Program Assistant – Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition

My job responsibilities: As the Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition Program Assistant I support the Coordinator in planning and implementing programs throughout the state of Florida in hopes of eliminating teen driver collisions and deaths on our roadways. I focus on outreach, content creation, and event planning.

Why I joined the Coalition: I joined the coalition because I have had the passion of keeping teens safe on our roadways since I was very young. I wanted to get involved so that I can continue to work with people who share my passion to educate more youth and hopefully save their lives.

Professional accomplishments: I am proud to have served as the 2021-2022 National and Florida President of the nonprofit organization Students Against Destructive Decisions.

Hobbies or areas of interest outside of work: I love traveling to new places and trying food from all over the world. I am a University of Florida Gator so you can normally find me cheering on the Gators!

What was your favorite song when you were a teenager? Anything OneRepublic or Morgan Wallen

What make and model was your first car? 2017 Hyundai Elantra

What has changed most about driving from the time you were a teenager to now? I am still a teenager so…not much!

The one tip I would give any new teen driver would be: Your life should be the number one priority when you get behind the wheel. Not a text, your ETA, or the music playing. Just arrive alive!
