My job responsibilities: Improving traffic safety through education and outreach activities. Building strong community relationships and networks to create strategic alliances with partners across the state.

Why I joined the Coalition: To help reduce crashes and injuries among teen drivers and passengers.

Hobbies or areas of interest outside of work: Raising smart kids that care about the world, themselves and each other. Being a brand-new Grandma. Enjoying the outdoors and my puppies.

What make and model was your first car? Pontiac Turbo TransAm

What has changed most about driving from the time you were a teenager to now? Speed and caution.

The one tip I would give any new teen driver would be: Slow down and don’t assume you know everything about driving; you are always learning.
