Trauma Injury Prevention Coordinator – HCA Florida Blake Hospital
My job responsibilities: Spreading injury prevention education and awareness within the community. Working with local organizations to plan and coordinate events related to injury prevention specific to our trauma center. Track injury data within our trauma center to determine areas of opportunity within our community for injury prevention and education.
Why I joined the Coalition: The coalition provides amazing resources and partnerships that allow me the opportunity to reach a larger network to spread awareness. I enjoy working with like minded people who share a passion for preventing accidents and injuries in the teen population.
Hobbies or areas of interest outside of work: Reading, boating, fishing and spending time with family.

What has changed most about driving from the time you were a teenager to now? Technology in phones.
The one tip I would give any new teen driver would be: Limits distractions and educate yourself on safety in the vehicle.
