CONTEST PERIOD
The entry period for the Contest begins on October 6, 2021, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends on October 30, 2021 at 12:00AM Eastern Time. By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are binding and final in all matters relating to the Contest.

ELIGIBILITY
Florida high school students who are legal residents of Florida and who are fourteen (14) to eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry are eligible to enter the Contest.
HOW TO ENTER
Eligible students may enter the Contest as an individual. To enter the Contest, each individual must:
- Fill out the official entry form, found here: https://flteensafedriver.org/2021-teen-driver-safety-week-resource-hub/
- Follow both @FLTeenSafeDriver and @AAA_Florida on TikTok;
- Create an educational TikTok video that encourages safe driving behaviors among teens. (Topics include, but are not limited to, seatbelt usage, distracted driving, impaired driving (drugged and/or drinking), drowsy driving, graduated driver licensing (GDL), speeding, and aggressive driving.);
- Post the video to your personal TikTok account and tag @FLTeenSafeDriver and @AAA_Florida; and;
- Send a copy of your video and signed release to TDSW@FLTeenSafeDriver.org by October 30, 2021 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time. For individuals under eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry who enter the Contest or appear in the video, the respective individual’s parent or legal guardian must also sign the requisite release.
Limit one video per entry.
The video must be an original work by the submitting individual, must not be filmed while driving, and must not contain any profanity. No copyrighted material may be used.
The video must be no longer than 3 minutes.
By entering the Contest, Entrants agree that Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition and AAA – The Auto Club Group has the right to use, reproduce, reprint, distribute, and display the video for any organizational purpose, without notification, consent, or compensation to the Entrant(s). A AAA – The Auto Club Group purpose includes, but is not limited to, displaying the video on AAA – The Auto Club Group’s website, social media, at conferences, or at other venues, regardless of whether fees are charged. No royalties, talent fees, or compensation will be paid to those who appear in the video.
By entering the Contest, Entrants grant permission for their video to be posted on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, if selected as a winner. Entrants agree that Sponsors are not responsible for any unauthorized use of entries by third parties. Sponsors do not guarantee the posting of any entry and reserve the right to remove any posted entry for any reason and at any time.
Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition, AAA – The Auto Club Group, and their agents and employees assume no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, damaged, postage due, or illegible entries; or for any computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, garbled or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/web site/use net accessibility or availability, traffic congestion or unauthorized human intervention.
Incomplete entries or entries that do not otherwise adhere to these Official Rules will be disqualified. By entering the Contest, Entrants agree that their video conforms to these Official Rules and that Sponsors, in their sole discretion, may disqualify an entry for any reason, including if they determine, in their sole discretion, that the entry fails to conform to these Official Rules in any way or otherwise contains unacceptable content as determined by Sponsors, in their sole discretion.
Upon submission, the video shall become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned.
WINNER SELECTION, NOTIFICATION, AND PRIZES
Judging and Winners Selection
All eligible entries received by Sponsors will be scored by a panel of qualified judges to select thirteen (13) winners (from 1st first place to 13th place) based on the following criteria: 25% clear and compelling expression of driving traffic safety message, 25% technical execution and quality, 25% visual appeal, and 25% level of motivational messaging. The thirteen (13) entries with the highest total score will be deemed winners. In the event of a tie, an additional, “tie-breaking” judge will determine the winner(s) based on the criteria listed herein. Sponsors reserve the right to select fewer than thirteen (13) winners if, in their sole discretion, they do not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries.
Winners Announcement and Notification
The thirteen (13) winning entries will be announced on November 5, 2021 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time via Facebook and Instagram social media channels, as well as the Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition website (FLTeenSafeDriver.org). Each winner will be notified by email on November 4, 2021 on or before 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded. Prizes for 1st place through 7th place winners will be awarded to the student entrant. Prizes for 8th place through 13th place winners will be awarded to the winner’s school for use in implementing or supporting a traffic safety need or project.

If a winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days of the respective announcement date or is deemed ineligible, the respective prize will be automatically forfeited by the winner, and a new winner will be selected.
GENERAL RULES
By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
Winners may make no substitution or transfer of prizes. All federal, state and local taxes and other associated costs are the responsibility of each winner. Winners will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and an acknowledgement of taxation and value of prize form.
Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest for any reason, in their sole discretion, by posting such notice on Facebook and Instagram, as well as the Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition website (FLTeenSafeDriver.org).
BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSORS AND ITS RESPECTIVE PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATED ENTITIES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, ATTORNEYS, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM ANY DAMAGE, INJURY, DEATH, LOSS, CLAIM, ACTION, DEMAND, OR OTHER LIABILITY (COLLECTIVELY, “CLAIMS”) THAT MAY ARISE FROM YOUR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION AND/OR USE OF ANY PRIZE OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST, OR FROM ANY MISUSE OR MALFUNCTION OF ANY PRIZE AWARDED, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CLAIMS, OR KNOWLEDGE OF THE FACTS CONSTITUTING SUCH CLAIMS, EXIST AT THE TIME OF ENTRY OR ARISE AT ANY TIME THEREAFTER.
BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, ENTRANTS AGREE THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (A) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (B) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (C) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANTS HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVE ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; (D) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANTS IRREVOCABLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF; AND (E) ENTRANTS IRREVOCABLY AGREE TO BRING ANY ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE CONTEST IN THE WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT, MICHIGAN, OR THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE EASTERN DISTRICT OF MICHIGAN (IF JURISDICTIONAL PREREQUISITES ARE SATISFIED).
