My job responsibilities:Provide education to the community on the top mechanisms of injury we see at Arnold Palmer Hospital.
Why I joined the Coalition: We have seen an increase in teen drivers coming in as trauma patients.
Professional Accomplishments:Created a child passenger safety program at the hospital. Maintained certified child passenger safety technicians by becoming an instructor.
Hobbies or areas of interest outside of work: Camping, roller coasters.
What was your favorite song when you were a teenager? Beyonce – Crazy in Love
What make and model was your first car? Toyota Yaris
What has changed most about driving from the time you were a teenager to now? Social media obsession which contributes to distracted driving.
The one tip I would give any new teen driver would be: Always pay attention to others while driving. You never know what someone else is going to do so it’s best to be prepared.
