Program Manager

My job responsibilities: One of my roles is to work closely with MADD’s program specialists around the state of Florida, who specialize in underage drinking prevention. They have the opportunity to be in front of teens on a regular basis, teaching them about making good choices.

Why I joined the Coalition: Underage drinking prevention is vital information to keeping teens safe. I am passionate about preventing any one from experiencing the devastating consequences of impaired driving and underage drinking. I have a personal experience with losing a loved one to a drunk driver, so I am invested in MADD’s mission for life.

Professional accomplishments: Certified Victim Advocate

Hobbies or areas of interest outside of work: I love spending time with my family!

What was your favorite song when you were a teenager? Born to be Wild

What make and model was your first car? Plymouth Valiant

What has changed most about driving from the time you were a teenager to now? It’s much more dangerous now! More cars on the road, more distractions, and more crashes. On the positive side, seatbelts are required – they weren’t when I started driving.

The one tip I would give any new teen driver would be: You only have one life – be completely present when driving, mentally and physically.
