My job responsibilities
Community Outreach and Partners Liaison, Grants Liaison, School Mentors Liaison, School Volunteers Liaison, Silver Knight Awards Coordinator, Sunshine Club Treasurer, Student Affairs Coordinator, Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) Sponsor, Take Stock in Children Mentor, and Women of Tomorrow Coordinator.
Why I joined the Coalition
After one of my Girl Scouts lost her life in a head-on collision caused by a drunk driver while driving to her college class, I accepted an invitation to join the Coalition to make a difference for my students and community.
Professional accomplishments
I have earned many accomplishments, recognitions, and appreciations, but I take the greatest pride in serving as a SADD Sponsor. Through this program, my students are challenged to raise awareness about alcohol and drug prevention among teens, as well as safe driving practices. I successfully reduced vaping incidents at our school to only two by November 2022. Being a member of the Teen Safe Driving Coalition is one of my proudest accomplishments.
Interests outside of work
Reading, knitting, traveling the world, and assisting others in need.
