My job responsibilities
Leading injury prevention and Safe Kids Florida Suncoast efforts at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, a pediatric trauma center in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Safe Kids Florida Suncoast outreach area includes Pinellas, Sarasota, Manatee, Polk, and Pasco Counties.
Why I joined the Coalition
Teen crashes are the leading cause of death for teens in the United States. Several counties in our area have high incidences of teen crashes, and I want to make an impact not only in our outreach area, but across the entire state.
Professional accomplishments
Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor for conventional car seats and certified to teach Safe Travel for All Children: Transporting Children with Special Healthcare Needs.
Interests outside of work
Spending time with my family, enjoying our two dogs, watching movies, and working out, with HIIT currently being my favorite.

One tip for new teen drivers
You do not have to get there first, be the coolest, or tend to emergencies. It is not a race. We all win if we get there safely.
