Why I joined the Coalition
I joined the Coalition to help bridge the gap between the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office and teen safe driving. I am working to bring the Teen Driver Challenge program back to our community. There has been a significant rise in teen driving fatalities locally, and I am working every angle possible to address it.
Professional accomplishments
More than 20 years in law enforcement, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, and more than 11 years as a sergeant. Selected for Field Training Officer, K-9, and Traffic Unit assignments. Teen Driver Challenge program coordinator with multiple high-liability and general topic instructor certifications.
Interests outside of work
An avid Jeeper who enjoys the beach, dogs, travel, and kayaking.

One tip for new teen drivers
Always expect another driver to make a mistake. Drive defensively and beyond.
