My job responsibilities
Traffic Officer conducting traffic safety programs for the Town of Davie and its residents. These programs include both education and enforcement. We also hold various community engagement programs revolving around traffic safety, including HOA meetings, school visits, and presentations. I am also a certified child passenger safety technician who participates in monthly child safety seat installations and inspections. I also conduct severe bodily injury and fatal traffic crash investigations and reconstructions.
Why I joined the Coalition
To make professional connections and learn about different programs that can be brought back to our town to help educate students and young drivers so they can develop safe driving habits. I also have 11 years of experience in the traffic unit, seeing firsthand what teens do that can lead to disastrous results. Bringing those experiences to others in the group can help develop additional educational programs to promote safe teen driving.

One tip for new teen drivers
Do not rush and pay attention outside the vehicle more than inside. Always practice defensive driving and try to predict what others will do.
