Member Bio

My job responsibilities
Law Enforcement Liaison for FDOT District 3, supporting law enforcement agencies in strengthening traffic safety initiatives. Promote and coordinate enforcement campaigns, organize public safety and press events, lead training sessions, meetings, and workshops, provide guidance to agencies on securing and managing grant funding, and evaluate agency contributions to traffic safety through policy, education, enforcement, and crash reduction. I also continue to serve as a reserve deputy and instructor with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Why I joined the Coalition
To support the Coalition’s mission as a liaison to law enforcement.
Professional accomplishments
More than 20 years of law enforcement experience, including service as a sergeant, investigator, PIO, DUI officer, traffic homicide investigator, and law enforcement instructor. Honored as Sworn Outstanding Performer of the Year and Officer of the Year.
Interests outside of work
Traveling, photography, and volunteer as a board member for the North Okaloosa Historical Association.
Favorite song as a teenager
I’m a Michael Bolton fan… Not exactly typical teen music, but it is what it is.
First car
1987 Chevy Blazer.
One tip for new teen drivers
Driving is one of the most dangerous things you will do almost every day. Respect it.
