The Battle of the Belts Campaign is a key initiative to promote safety belt use among teens. To ensure success and smooth implementation, follow these best practices:

1. Ideal Timeframe: January – March

  • Why: Avoid conflicts with standardized testing and school exams.
  • Tip: Start planning in December or early January to allow your school to integrate the campaign into their schedules.
  • All activities should be completed AND submitted by February 27th, 2025.

2. Timeline for Campaign Implementation

The campaign typically runs for a total of about 1-2 weeks, broken down into several phases:

  • Pre-Survey (1-2 days): Conduct a safety belt behavioral and attitude usage surveys (included in the kit) to establish baseline data. Click here to submit your pre-survey results.
  • Awareness Activities (1 week): Promote awareness and education on campus by using the provided outreach materials, posters and school wide announcements to encourage safety belt adoption.
