A COALITION DEDICATED TO A SAFER FLORIDA

The Florida Teen Safe Driving Coalition is comprised of more than 47 organizations committed to helping teens leverage the proven principles of Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL). We are affiliated with state and local government, law enforcement and public health agencies, traffic safety and injury prevention organizations, academia and business. We’re also teens, parents and crash victims.

We’re driven by a powerful mission: to equip teens with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to make informed decisions and develop responsible driving behaviors. We believe that by providing education, support, and advocacy, we can create a positive impact on the safety of our roads and the lives of young drivers.

Parents and caregivers play a vital role in shaping the driving habits of teens. The FTSDC provides resources, guidance, and tools to help parents and caregivers navigate the process of teaching safe driving skills, managing risks, and establishing open communication channels with their teens. By empowering parents, we foster an environment of shared responsibility for teen driver safety.
